Members of the China - European Union Standards Project are planning to submit a proposal to hold a session on China and ICT standardisation at the 4S Annual Meeting to be held in Tokyo in August. The closing date for session proposals is February 15th, so we invite anyone interested in presenting a paper in this session on the social anaylysis of current Chinese standards activity and policy to email an abstract, maximum 500 words, to Ian Graham at University of Edinburgh before February 13th. The abstract should include a summary of the paper's main arguments and methodology, as well as a brief statement on the contribution of the paper to the sociology of technology literature.
